Roland Fox founded K9 Solutions NYC in 1997. He is a certified master trainer and expert behaviorist, a graduate of the National K9 School for Dog Trainers, and has been working with dogs for over 20 years. Roland is a nationally recognized expert in the field of canine rescue and rehabilitation. His work has been featured in Russel Simmons American Truth series, and The Village Voice.
Since the time Roland was able to crawl, he has been exposed to formally trained police dogs. His exposure to his grandfathers' talents with handling police K-9s helped shaped Roland's love for dogs and made teaching and training his own passion. Roland moved on to study and master tactical K-9 handling under direction ranging from Law Enforcement personnel, military operators, independent security contractors and a former C.I.A Operative. Roland is qualified to provide everything from a family guardian to a tactical, executive protection dog.
Roland has extensively studied the works of Ed Frawley of Leerburg Kennels, Cesar Millan and many other masters. He has synthesized his own style based on his experience and applying what he feels works best in the real world.
Roland Fox is not a "method" trainer. His approach is based on the animal's specific personality type, the owner, and the unique environment that these two create.
K9 Solutions NYC offers three primary services for you and your dog.
(1.) In home dog training and consultations.
(2.) Dog training at their facility in upstate
New York.
(3.) Boarding services.
